Stained Glass Windows and doors

All sixteen of our stained glass windows have been installed in the sanctuary and new swinging entry doors.  The doors and windows were made and installed by SOOS STAINED GLASS WINDOWS IN MAUMELLE, AR.  We appreciate their beautiful work.

Burning torch is a Christian symbol signifies witnessing for Christ.  "Let your light so shine"
Three Intertwining Circles indicate the doctrine of the equality, unity, and co-eternal nature of the three persons of the Trinity.
 
 
            
 
The Lily is a symbol of Easter and immortality.  The bulb decays in the ground, yet from it new life is released.
Cross and Flame insignia relates UMC to God by way of the second and third persons of the Trinity: God the son--the cross; and God the Holy spirit--the flames. 
 
            
 
 
Dove with Olive Sprig is a symbol of the flood. It denotes peace, forgiveness, and anticipation of new life.
Ark and Rainbow symbol of the church, since in the Ark all living creatures found refuge from danger.
                                      
           
Manger suggestive of the simplicity of poverty surrounding the birth of Jesus and typical of his entire life.   
 Cross and Crown symbolizes the reward of the faithful in the life after death to those who believe in the crucified Savior     
 
           
      
The Challis is a symbol of the blood of Christ and the sacrament of Holy Communition
The piano was designed especially for the many hymns played over the years by Virginia Flynn    
 
         
 
The loaves and fishes deplicts the apostles presenting this to Christ
Lamb standing with banner signifies no longer wounded, but standing witht the banner of victory and PAX meaning peace
 
          
Open Bible symbolizes the Word of God
 The Cross and wheat are symbols of believers of Christianity and the grapes represent fruitfulness.
 
 
                         
                                    
The Banner is the symbol of rejoicing and the victory. 
Dove signifies the Holy Spirit and the presence of God and the shell is a symbol of our Lord's baptism.
